Organized by Azerbaijan HR Institute and sponsored by Meditopia, the International HR Summit 2025 took place in Baku on May 20 – International HR Day. The event gathered Presidents, Vice Presidents, and Board Members of the European Association for People Management (EAPM), HR Associations from the Maldives, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, as well as Chief Human Resources Officers (CHROs) and HR professionals.
Emil Huseynov, Founder and Director of Azerbaijan HR Institute, noted that the International HR Summit 2025 is aligned with the third priority of the “Azerbaijan 2030: National Priorities for Socio-Economic Development,” approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, on February 2, 2021. This priority – “Competitive Human Capital and Modern Innovations” – serves as the foundation of the summit, which aims to explore global innovations in human resources, advancements in technology, and modern practices, while fostering dialogue, discussions, and knowledge exchange among professionals.
One of the most significant milestones of the event, held on May 20 – International HR Day, was the establishment of the “Union of Turkic States HR Alliance” in Baku for the first time.
The summit brought together CHROs of local and international organizations, leaders of global HR associations, and government officials on a single platform to discuss the latest developments and future expectations in human capital management. Participants exchanged insights on global HR trends, digital HR and artificial intelligence, leadership in HR, as well as the future of learning and development, gaining new perspectives and practices in the proc

It is worth noting that Azerbaijan HR Institute has successfully organized several large-scale international events in recent years, including Baku International CEO Summit 2022, Global HR Summit 2023, World HR Summit 2024, and COP29 Human Capital Forum.
