On the evening of March 15, 2026, in a softly lit hall in Baku, the familiar rituals of professional gatherings gave way to something more focused and forward-looking. Organized by Azerbaijan HR Institute in collaboration with Azerbaijan HR Community, “CHRO Dinner 2026” brought together senior HR leaders and business professionals to discuss how leadership and human capital are evolving in response to rapid change.
The event was opened by Emil Huseynov, Founder and Director of Azerbaijan HR Institute, who welcomed participants and set the tone for an evening focused on collaboration, shared learning, and the strategic role of HR in shaping the future of organizations.

The program combined professional dialogue with a more informal setting, beginning with a reception and continuing over an iftar dinner. This format created space for recognition and community engagement, reinforcing the role of HR as both a strategic and human-centered function.
A key highlight of the evening was the masterclass delivered by Elnara Mammadova, Vice President, Global Advisory (P&C) at BP. Her session focused on leadership in an increasingly complex and unpredictable environment. She emphasized that traditional leadership models are no longer aligned with current realities, as organizations now operate in conditions shaped by continuous disruption, technological acceleration, and changing workforce expectations. In this context, leadership is shifting toward collaboration, transparency, and the ability to create trust-based, psychologically safe environments.
During the event, Elnara Mammadova was also formally congratulated on being awarded the “Taraggi” medal by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. This recognition highlighted her professional achievements and contribution to leadership development at both regional and global levels.
