By an order of the Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, Anar Aliyev, Hasil Vasif oglu Abbasov has been appointed as Chairman of the State Employment Agency under the Ministry.
According to HRnews.az, Hasil Abbasov was born in 1985. In 2003–2007, he completed his bachelor’s degree in International Relations at Azerbaijan University of Languages. Within the framework of the State Program on Education of Azerbaijani Youth Abroad, he obtained a master’s degree in International Relations from Macquarie University (Australia) in 2008–2010.
In 2012–2014, he worked on joint projects with the World Bank. From 2014 to 2019, he held various positions in the private sector. Since 2019, he has worked at the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, serving as Head of Sector, Director of the ASAN Innovative Development Center, and Deputy Chairman of the Board of the National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Issues.
From October 2024 until his current appointment, he served as Deputy Chairman of the State Employment Agency.
